Master Plan
The proposed Site for AMCGH is located in Uttara, along Turag River. Access to the Site is off a 30 feet wide Embankment Drive Road parallel to the 60 feet wide Ranabhola Road, connecting Uttara to Ashulia and points beyond.
The Site of approximately 110,000 square feet has an allowable Floor Area Ratio (FAR) of about 55,000 SFT.
This is based on the Building Construction Act of 1952, Section 18, Clause 20, pertaining to Hospitals, Educational and Civic Facilities.

Consistent with discussions of the Design Development Committee (DDC) - the proposed hospital footprint has been limited to about 37,000 square feet, to allow for an additional 18,000 square feet of future development - for a Medical College, Residential facilities for Nurses, Doctors and Technical Staff and required ancillary structures.
