Design Alliance - Health Care Consultants, Architects and Planners, based in Baltimore, Maryland, USA was commissioned to assist in development of this project. Design Alliance was established in 1990 by Tarek Alam and Ali Bigdeli. In establishing Design Alliance, they brought with them over forty years of Health Planning, Programming, Designing, Hospital Administration and Construction Management experience to the firm.

Major Projects executed and works in progress include:

1. Helix Health Park (Ambulatory Care Complex in Severna Park, Maryland)
2. Harbor Hospital - ICU, Cardiac Cathetertization, Radiology, Emergency, Physical Therapy Department and inpatient Oncology Unit modernization Holy Cross Hospital, Silver Spring, Maryland, Additions and Alterations to include Post Anesthesia Care Unit, ICU, CCU, Telemetry Unit, Labor and Delivery Suite, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
3. Holy Cross Hospital, Kitchen and Cafeteria modernization in association with Cini Grissom and Associates
4. Design of the Institute of Child and Mother Health, Matuail, Dhaka
5. Management Consultant, Institute of Child and Mother Health, Matuail, Dhaka, for development of a medical records system, patient registration and MIS Protocols, quality assurance system, staffing requirements, etc.
6. Design of 250 Bed Gopalganj Sadar Hospital, Bangladesh
7. Design of 600 Bed, Dhaka Medical College Hospital-2
8. Upgradation of 328 Upazila Health Centers throughout Bangladesh
